As a child growing up in the 80’s, photography required an analog camera and film. I didn’t own a 35mm camera; my photography experience was spent using cartridge 110-film on a point-and-shoot camera. Nonetheless, I appreciated the opportunity to take photos of the places I visited on vacation.

Fast-forward to modern times, where the digital camera (cut: cell phone) is the dominant photo and video capturing device, I still have a reminiscent respect for film. Although niche today, film photography is a growing trend with many photographers today, looking to remember the old days, or perhaps experiencing analog for the first time.

I captured these photos using my vintage Olympus OM-1 (fully mechanical) with a light meter close at hand.
