Cough, cough, splutter, cough - still not much better, spent the entire weekend feeling ill. My folks called me on Sunday morning and my throat was so bad that I could barely speak, so I had to ask them to call me next week.
Friday was a lot of fun, Lisa and I attended the annual Christmas party, hosted by my employer - this year, instead of the usual sit down meal and dancing, they mixed it up by providing a casino night. Every attendee was given a chip worth $25,000 and could play at any of the blackjack and craps tables. A friend of mine handed me a stack of colored chips half way through the evening because he had to leave, so I gave them to Lisa and she managed to turn them into $1,000,000. At the end of the evening, every $25,000 could be exchanged for a raffle ticket to win prizes - the funniest part was walking up to the exchange table and coming away with a long ribbon of tickets. Alas, we did not win anything at the raffle, but we had a lot of fun playing.
The rest of the weekend was quiet - Lisa went to sell some of her hand made jewelry at a fair on Saturday, the kids and I hung out, played in the yard with the dog, and did some drawing together.
Christmas is only next week, and there's still lots to do - better dash.
