Garretts' World

Happenings in the world of the Garretts'

Weekend 12/9 - 12/10

The weather cannot seem to make up it's mind to be cold or warm - not that I should complain because Sunday was the Charles Town (WVA) parade of horses.  Over 300 horses paraded in Christmas regalia throughout the town.  This year Saddle Gals and Guys dressed up in Elf gear, the horses - reindeer, and we pulled Santa, and Mrs Clause (also on Reindeer).  It was a fun event had by all.

Whipped up some awesome chocolate pancakes on Saturday morning - I should apply for a job at Denny's - Bella thought chocolate in her breakfast was the best thing ever, Simon kept asking me if the brown bits were burnt. Spent some time on Saturday afternoon grooming Nanza (horse) for the parade on Sunday, and the rest of the day hanging out with the kids.

Attended our first Christmas party this year at a friend's house - we had a lot of fun, and the kids had a super time playing with their friend.
