Garretts' World

Happenings in the world of the Garretts'

Sunday 12/3

So far have spent the day chillin' - as one should on a Sunday.  The kids and I had pancakes for breakfast while Lisa ran out for a Freecycle pickup.

Called my folks at home - why is it that kids always manage to dig out the loudest toy they can find when you're on the phone?  My Mother tells me that I used to do the same thing, so perhaps it is behavior that is installed at birth - "here you go Mr and Mrs Garrett, your new baby boy.. oh wait, let me just add this bit of software that causes him to go erratic when you pick up your phone."

Before lunch Bella, Simon and I went to play outside.  Mommy came home, and we all headed to the back of the yard to play on the jungle gym.  Bella became quite attached to the airplane swing (kinda like the gator yesterday) and started to cry when it was time to go in for lunch.

I am a little put out that someone outbid me on EBay by $1 on a bunch of books for Christmas - grrr, am back on EBay determined to find another lot.
