Garretts' World

Happenings in the world of the Garretts'

Wednesday 11/29

Hmm, getting used to writing a journal entry every day.  A couple of "fans" have commented on the lack of non-tech content on my web site, and now that I've separated tech from non-tech I can babble away here guilt free that I'm not polluting my tech grouping with personal blurb.

Finally got my email server back online last night, amazing how 24 hours of down email can leave you feeling isolated from reality Wink  Took the opportunity to upgrade the spam checker, so hopefully my inbox will not contain so much crap.

Simon and I are reading "The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4" - yes, yes, I know that it's an old book, but I'm not with it enough to read books when they're popular, and figured it'd be a fun read for Simon.  I love this book - it enables me to reminisce about my home land.  Bonus points to those who have figured out that this book has inspired me to actually write blog posts in this blog.

Rewarded my laptop/server/Windows marathon by eating a large chocolate ice-cream cone, and downing a few glasses of red wine... I slept well last night Smile
