Just one more day of 2005 left (technically less than 24 hours by the time I've finished this post).  Here's a quick look back at the events and accomplishments of 2005....

January

• We start the new year with a kick butt party.

February

• Rob joins the Saddle Gals and Guys drill team.
• Lisa and Simon visit Nonno in Florida in February,
  Rob stays behind and supervises the installation of a new hard wood floor in the dining room.
• Rob visits Eva in Williamsburg, VA.

March

• Friends and family join us for a lamb roast at Easter.

April

• Rob is shocked by a surprise 30th birthday party on April fools day (2 months after his real birthday to so he'd never guess).
  
• Rob's term at the IRS ends and a new one begins with the National Cancer Institute at NIH.
• Simon gets a first look at the Cherry Blossoms in DC - and wants to clean fallen blossom.
• Rob figures out how to replace a toilet in the house (don't ask).

May

• Lisa gets chickens.

June

• Lisa gives birth to our daughter: Isabella Rose Garrett on June 6.
• Luton Town are champions for British soccer League 1.
• Nanza comes to visit.

July

• Rob takes part in his first SG&G parade.
• Rob visits family in England and is Best Man at his Brother - Steve's - wedding.
• We all say a prayer for the victims of the London bombings.

August

• Su-casa pays us a surprise visit for the weekend.
• Lisa kills chickens... and then gets some more.
• Our friend Andrew visits from NZ, and introduces me to Geocaching.
• Rob performs with the SG&G drill team in a number of local fairs.
  

September

• Lisa celebrates another birthday, and I bring home our new doggie - Cadence - as a birthday present.
• Simon celebrates his 2nd birthday, and all his friends and family attend a John Deere themed party.
• Rob gets a new IPOD - yeah.
  

October

• RobGarrett.com moves to it's new home at ASI.
• After waging war with the cable company for the past year, we finally move to Verizon FIOS.

November

• Not much going on, we're hibernating from the cold.

December

• Simon and Bella visit Santa at the John Deere store - we loose Simon's interest as soon as he spots an LG-160 green tractor in the corner.
  
• Bella's first Christmas - this girl knows about paper!
• Rob trades in the Jetta for a new Scion TC.
  

That's about the year in a nutshell, I know there are many more events and accomplishments in 2005, but those mentioned above were compiled by looking back through my blog postings.
