We were enthralled to play host again this weekend. On Friday I
received an email from Susan, aka Sucasa, a friend and ex-work
colleague, who was looking for a place to crash on Saturday night.
Lisa, Simon, Isabella and I always love to have guests over to stay
because it is always so much fun, and Susan's visit was no
exception. Saturday night I fired up the grill, cooked my
favorite salmon recipe, and brought in some wine (I was surprised to
find out that we were out on Friday). Simon had gone to bed before
Susan arrived, and Isabella slept a lot - so the three of us dined and
chit chatted into the evening.

Lisa made a big breakfast for Sunday morning, which included a
frittata
dish. Yum. Simon got to meet Susan and Isabella got in
plenty of "hold me" time before Susan had to leave. We hope that
she visits again soon.
BTW, Sucasa is a big advocate of my blog, and she tells me that she
reads it - always a good thing - so here's a big hello to you Susan,
you're welcome to visit us any time.
