London Bombings - An update

I heard back from my parents earlier, who tell me that they had heard from my brother Steve this morning. The cell network was congested for most of the day, preventing close contact, but I'm told that Steve is fine, just a little freaked out. Apparently Steve was late this morning and he missed the train with bomb by 10 minutes, which exploded between King's Cross and Russell Square.

As of a couple of hours ago Steve was trapped in London with no way of getting home. The BBC has recently reported that buses are now running delayed service, mainline trains are running (except into King's Cross), but the underground remains closed. Hopefully Steve has made it home, or is at least on his way. I plan to call him later.

Many thanks to all those that sent me their best wishes for Steve and my family.

Glad to hear everything is ok with your family. What sad times we live in when you wonder to youreself how long before I have a close call with terrorists? I read that al-Qaeda took "credit" (I don't like the positive connotation of that word) for the attacks. It's about time to go down there and kick ol' boubla-boubla's ass!
