Today was the first day of my two week parental leave from work, so I
went down to the hospital this morning to spend the day with Lisa and
Isabella.
Mom and baby were originally due to check out today,
but ended up staying another day on account of Isabella's
bilirubin
level having increased (6 out of 10 newborn babies suffer from jaundice, which is
easily treated). Several tests were done, and the results from this afternoons test showed a decrease in the level - good news.
Whilst I was in the hospital, I took some great pictures (available
here), including this gem of a shot where Isabella was smiling -
