Happenings in the world of the Garretts'

Moon

As I was leaving for work this morning I couldn't help but notice how cool the moon looked. It was just before sunrise, there were no clouds in the sky and the moon was clearly visible with a half cresent lit up by the rising sun.

I cannot take credit for this picture, it's from http://www.ephesus.com/Pictures/VenusJupiter2002.html. I tried to capture the image but my ELF SD200 just couldn't do the image any justice. Perhaps with a 38mm, show shutter, zoom lense and tripod, I may have caught the picture without blur.
