Last day of February and it's snowing again. Waking up this morning was
especially hard for some reason, and I couldn't use my usual excuse of
going to bed too late the night before. I jumped out of bed (well,
crawled actually) expecting to see 5 inches of snow, as predicted by
the reports, but only saw a green lawn. Drat! that meant I had to drive
into the office.
Got to the office by 7:30am, grabbed coffee and met with the rest of my
team to plan the work agenda for the week ahead. At 10:30am the snow
started to fall, and I decided that it would look much prettier from my
home office, so I took off for home before the rest of the world
thought of the same thing.
Rest of today has been pretty much uneventful, writing documentation - always a favorite past time <sigh>.
Weekend was much more exciting. Drove over to my friend Anton's
apartment on Friday. Played some
X-box, watched
Dawn of the Dead on DVD
and then went to the movie theater to watched
Cursed. We were
disappointed by Cursed, why is it that the special effects people have
a brain fart when it comes to werewolf movies? The effects were too
privative for movie standards of today and the plot was a little too
teenie-boppie for my liking. The highlight of this movie was
Christina
Ricci as one of the leading characters. Going back to Dawn of the
Dead... now that was my kind of movie, gory and lots of zombie
killings.
Stopped over at Anton's place until Saturday morning, went for an
IHOP
breakfast with Anton and Greg - all Saturday's should be started this
way.
Rest of weekend involved putting furniture back in the house, post hardwood floor fitting, and catching up on some work.
