Happenings in the world of the Garretts'

New Year Eve Party Pictures

6 short hours after going to bed on New Years Day (5am) and it was time to get up again. Simon was an absolute saint this morning, the fact that he stayed in bed until 11am, and not want to get up at his normal 8am, was a prayer answered.

I woke up to 66 degree F weather, so Simon and I went for a walk out (cleared a muggy headache after all the wine I drank at the party). What a gorgeous day! By the time we got back, Lisa was outside waiting for us, so all three of us played out in the garden - a nice relaxing start to the year. If the rest of the days in 2005 are anything like today, then I'll have a great year Smiley

As promised, here are some pictures from the party. I apologize for the bad quality, my camcorder doesn't take very good stills in dim light (I wonder if I can get a flash attachment for my birthday this year). In addition to those featured in pictures, I was happy to see Chris & Angela, Joana, David & Tomash, Becky and Rex (hopefully I didn't miss anyone).

Rick and AJ.

Susana and Dave.

Rick D.

Mangala, Anton, Lisa and Greg.

Mangala, Lisa, Eashana and Gayu.

A short movie from the party can be found here.
