Simon woke up on Saturday morning to a bundle of presents under the
tree. Still wearing his bright red PJs, Simon began opening the large
array of presents that the white bearded man had left for him. Once the
brightly colored paper had been shredded from the parcels Simon found a
number of exciting gifts inside, which included Lego, chutes and
ladders, a dumper truck, lots of lovely clothes and a really cool ball
game with a hammer.

Yes, the box says Playtex, but they make kiddie drinking cups as well as female sanitary items.
Towards the beginning of the afternoon Simon ascended his high chair
(Okay, Dad lifted him in), put on his "Merry Christmas" bib, and was ready for the Christmas feast to
begin. Although this year was technically Simon's second Christian
holiday, last year Simon was only 3 months and could not appreciate the
delights that a typical Turni/Garrett banquet had to offer. He made up
for it this year by piling in lasagna, sweet potatoes and peas.

"What's taking so long? There's a hungry mouth to fill here!"
Simon was very glad to see all his family (Mommy, Daddy, Nanna, Nonno
and Auntie Tina) and friends (Eva, Laszlo, Susana, Dave, Elanor,
Federico, Christina and Jonah) had joined him to celebrate the holiday.
