This Sunday we hosted this years Christmas cookie party. Each year Lisa and I host a party where guests are invited over to drink spiced cider, eat party hors d'oeuvres and bake sweet cookies. Each guest brings their own recipe and dough and we fire up the oven to cook them (the dough, not the recipe sheets).
At the end of the party, after sampling cookies from many batches, we exchange the varieties of the cooked goodies so that we can eat more during the days leading up to Christmas.
Christmas day brings with it a whole load more sweet yummies
