When I create a document in a SharePoint 2007 document library, the item has the word "new!" next to the title, for 24 hours I guess. This is annoying, is there any way to disable this? Thanks.

I've read that the plateform could be Windows Server 2003 (1) or Windows SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (2).

Gabriel,

WSS 3.0 is free with Windows 2003.  SharePoint Portal Server is an application server running on WSS 2.0 - predecessor to MOSS.
