Software and Technology Tid-bits

No, it's not Sushi

I was reading a post on Boing Boing today about David LaPuma, a grad student, who was diagnosed with meningmioma - a brain tumor.  David found out from doctors that he had his tumour after a complaint that he had lost is sense of smell about 10 months ago.

David went under the knife to have the tumor removed, and documented the surgery on his blog. Me, being of inquisitive mind, had to read about it.  David also had pictures taken of the op, which are available on his flickr site here.  Beware, if you get squeamish from looking at pictures of someone's brain exposed to daylight then these pictures are not for your viewing.

nope, it's not sushi, and it's not cancer either. It's a benign meningioma. I'm not battling brain cancer.

Cheers

Sorry dude, I correct my post. You might want to let Boing Boing know, as they have you listed as battling brain cancer, which is where I found out about you.
