Firefox 1.04 Released

Version 1.0.4 of Mozilla Firefox has been released, which fixes a couple of critical security vulnerabilities.

Actually, watching FireFox has been interesting. It's not the security panacea some would have you believe, but it is a fairly solid browser. It's definately good to have competition for IE, to drive IE development. I'm hoping IE 7 fixes the most annoying outstanding bugs/lack of features (Alpha PNG, CSS 2, etc.). However, IE just feels faster to me. I've also done dhtml perf tests on certain operations, and IE is MUCH faster in some instances, sometimes orders of magnitude faster.
